We’re going to have BLTs for supper one night this week and I’m obsessing over them. We haven’t had a BLT in a seriously long time! I rarely buy bacon anymore because it’s expensive, and that’s just the stuff at Walmart that’s full of chemicals and junk. So I buy it once in a blue moon and we enjoy every last bit of it. The lettuce and tomato totally counteracts the unhealthy stuff in the bacon, right? Hey, and we use homemade wheat bread! So BLTs are basically health food. Yeaaahhh:)
Here’s what I have planned for us to eat this week:
- Red beans, rice, sausage and cornbread
- Roast chicken, quinoa and green beans
- BLTs and apples
- Salad with salmon patties
